About Urban Yoga

Urban Yoga is a 21st century yoga practice adapted to distil wellness of the body and mind. We are proud to be unconventional. We do things differently. We do not practice from a distinct lineage or speak in the traditional Sanskrit tongue.

Urban Yoga is the yoga for today. Enjoy a space without fear or judgement. Here you can be motivated and start a journey. Disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself.

About Bentstix Hockey Club

Bentstix Hockey Club is Sydney’s only hockey club which openly promotes participation from the gay, lesbian and wider community.

We welcome new players of all skill levels (including beginners) for both our men’s and women’s teams throughout the year.

Bentstix is dedicated to continually building a diverse, competitive and friendly environment which welcomes all new members wishing to play hockey, get fit and make new friends.

Our aims are to:

  • Provide GLBT community members the opportunity to learn and play hockey in a competitive but fun and supportive environment.
  • Offer members the opportunity to make new friends while improving their fitness and self-esteem.
  • Promote sport and participation in the GLBT community and in turn promote acceptance of homosexuality within the broader community.
  • Promote gay and lesbian field hockey both locally and internationally in an effort to build participation worldwide.

Go on, give hockey a go …
